The K-Beauty brand ROM&ND was founded in 2016 by Saerom Min (Gaeko), one of the most popular beauty creators in Korea, together with the company IFamily SC. Rather than going the conventional route of the savvy beauty industry, ROM&ND decided to focus more on consumers and influencer marketing. Because Saerom is one of the most sought-after beauty influencers in Korea, taking one of the first places in the beauty blog category of Naver (Korean web portal). She mainly posts makeup tutorials such as daily makeup or famous Korean celebrity makeup. She is also represented on platforms such as Instagram and has more than 107k followers (sr531). Saerom is not only an influencer, but also has other outstanding references. With a degree in Western Fine Arts from Inha University in Korea, she is also a state-certified colorist and author of two best-selling beauty books. The brand name is therefore also derived from her name "saeROM".
